Yes, although depending on how dark it is now you may have to strip it to get another color to show in it. I have heard beauty school students and hair dressers say no, but they just want you to use their products I have been coloring my hair myself for 25 years and it is in great shape. It is bleaching it and using blow dryers and hot irons that is really hard on your hair. I have even colored, stripped and colored my hair in one day. This int recommended though and I would not do it on a regular basis. Make sure you are gentle with your hair and dont use a harsh shampoo either. Use conditioner if you have it when you wash your after after coloring it. a hot oil treatment is good afterwards too sometime in the week following it. Be sure and use old towels for a while afterwards too your hair may leak a little color for a few days. You can make your hair brittle with dying to much especially dying the same day.


You should wait @ least 1 week before re colouring
This will severly over-process your hair and make it extrememly dry and cause it to break off.
