How long does it take for Revlon ColorSilk hair dye to fade? Or any hair dye how long does it take to fade?

i dyed my hair using revlon colorsilk and it came out almost black when it was supposed to be brown how long will it take the color to fade into a brown color that i actually like? thankss((:
